Karnataka State BoardPre-University Course
Everything you need to know about the Karnataka Pre-University Board (KSEEB) — one of India's most recognised and respected educational boards.
Overview
What is the Karnataka State Board?
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), commonly known as the Karnataka State Board, administers the Pre-University (PU) examination — equivalent to Class 11 and Class 12 in other boards.
The Pre-University Course (PUC) is a two-year program after SSLC (Class 10). It is the foundation for professional courses like Medicine, Engineering, Commerce, and the Arts. The board sets the curriculum, conducts 1st and 2nd PUC examinations, and awards marks recognised by all Indian universities.
With lakhs of students appearing every year across Karnataka, this board produces some of the nation's top NEET and KCET rankers, making it a strong launchpad for competitive careers.
